Dear Sidney and all of The Brothership,
First off, please excuse the delay in the note to you...
we have no idea where time has gone since our wedding in September.
You guys were absolutely fabulous at our wedding! We had
the night of our lives and the packed dance floor was proof that you were amazing. I realize that we didn't communicate
that much (since we live in England) in advance of the big event, but you did everything perfectly without much guidance
from us.
Thank you for being so reliable, and most of all fun!
So many of our guests have told us that they had a fantastic evening
and that they thought you were great. We couldn't thank you more! Sometimes if I want a break from my routine
I close my eyes and imagine myself back on the dance floor surrounded by so many people who were having a great time!
All the best and hope you are enjoying what you do so well!
Meg & Matt Lyons

Subj: we loved you - 7 years later!
This is crazy to be emailing all of these years later, but...
You played for my wedding in Middletown, Virginia at the Wayside Inn in April 2000.
We were all packed into a tent behind the inn in late April. I am sure that you don't remember, given the number of
bookings you have had over the years--but it does not really matter. I always had planned to write you a letter to tell
you how much my husband and I, as well as our guests, LOVED your band, and I am just doing it.
You all were the perfect band for our wedding and I have such fond memories thinking back
and looking at the pictures. I actually have a bunch of pictures with you all because so many people were dancing right
up with you all. You literally had almost everyone at our wedding dancing in the tent from the very first set--a difficult
feat. You all must have started playing at 6 or 6:30 and I swear you hardly ever took a break. We were an hour late
leaving for our hotel at the airport because we were having such fun. I think that you finally stopped after 11:00.
You even indulged us with some old, fun, Doug Clark & The Hot Nuts songs toward the end, since so many of us--and our
parents--used to listen to them. You all simply made the reception the fun time that it was!!!! Everyone danced
until their legs hurt because of you all. I think most people barely sat down. I still have people tell me what
a fun reception we had, and as our 7th wedding anniversary approaches next month, I have to say I get a big smile on my face
thinking about how much fun we had. It was the right combination of people ready to party and have fun, and a TERRIFIC,
ENERGIZING band to take them there. I know that you all played longer than you were supposed to. You either gave
up a break or two or added a set. Anyway... you showed all of us the best time and I have always felt horrible that
I never got a chance to really thank you that night. I intended to write many times and just never got to it because
of wedding thank you notes, settling into a new house, and a surprise pregnancy 6 months after our wedding!! So, almost
7 years later, please accept my heartfelt thanks for making our wedding!! Email makes things so much easier these days!! :-)
I am glad to see that you guys are still going strong!!
Sincerely,
Michelle Siewers

Brothership
Hi Andy!
Thanks for your email. The wedding was wonderful
and THE BROTHERSHIP was fantastic! The dance floor was full of people dancing the whole time and everyone loved the
band. I think at one point the entire reception (all 180 of us) was up dancing and doing a congo line to Love Train...
definitely a sight! I can't wait to see our video of that... Everyone had a great time and I know we owe that to
the band. They really did play great songs and got everyone out dancing--young, old, quiet and all. At one point,
my maid of honor's cute little mom was dancing away on a chair having a great old time. I couldn't believe it!
...They were a pleasure to work with and everything went as planned. We really did get so many compliments on the band.
My friend had recommended them, but they outdid the recommendation by far. I would highly recommend them to anyone else.
Thanks again for everything. You helped make our wedding a momentous occasion.
Take care.
Jaime

Hey Sidney-
Back from the honeymoon and wanted to drop you guys
a line. You guys were awesome! Everyone loved you guys, and we've gotten a lot of great responses from people
on the band. The weather was great, the setting at the Collonade Club was awesome, and you guys topped everything off!
Thanks again for everything. You guys exceeded
our high expectations, and we couldn't have been happier. We will see you guys in October at the Hebda-Krebs wedding
in the Outer Banks. That's Annie's cousin and my friend from UVA.
Thanks again,
David and Annie McDade

SAT FEB 4 2006 - The Brothership Follow Up
Let me catch my breath because it sure was happening
while they were playing!!! Everyone loved them! They thought they were the best dance band ever and I can say there
wasn't an empty spot on the dance floor all night long. But of course there wasn't much room on stage either as the
Bride seemed permanently attached to the stage. When the night was over all the members said to me how much they enjoyed
the group and they were especially kind since the Bride was so SAD!! You know why?? SHE DID NOT WANT THEM TO STOP
OR THE EVENING TO END!! WHAT better PR could any band ask for?? Needless to say, they were more than we asked
for! They were the best! I will pass their name on and our recommendations to everyone for future parties!
We LOVED them. Thank you for being so great to work with!

Subj: The Brothership
Sorry I'm so long in replying to your email. The Brothership was just great
for Natalie and Blair's reception on New Year's. People were on the dance floor all evening and the night flew by all
too fast! The band did a wonderful job of all the "wedding" duties, calling out for pictures, cake cutting and, of course,
the countdown to the New Year. Thanks again for suggesting them. Many of the college people were familiar with
them and some had recently been to a wedding where they performed. The Brothership did a super job!
Many thanks,
Natalie, Mother of the Bride

The Brothership was ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! Everyone at
the reception asked me how I found them and said nothing but wonderful things about The Brothership. They were so friendly
and personable to my husband, our guests, and me. We felt like they were old friends. I think they might have
even had a good time themselves! At least I hope so! Thank you so much for your help with choosing the right band
for our special day.

Thanks for checking with me. Everyone loved the band and wished we had
booked them for a couple more hours. They play such a variety of music that all ages enjoyed dancing. We will
definitely remember them for our next year's party.

Dear Sidney and The Brothership,
Thank you so much for your role in the best day of
our lives. Everyone came up to us saying that you guys truly made the party. Quotes such as "the best wedding
band ever" were numerous among our family and friends. Our first dance to your rendition of "Crazy Love" still sends
chills down my spine. Adam and I had a blast and were so happy to dance away the evening to the great music produced
by The Brothership. We will recommend you to everyone! Hope you don't mind traveling to Washington D.C.!!
Love,
Johanna and Adam

I could not have asked for it to go any better. Every single attendee has said this was our
best party ever due 100% to the band. The managing partner danced all night and has told me three times already to get
the same band next year.
Thanks again for everything

I just wanted to thank you and your band for the great job you did at Lucy and Azim's wedding reception
Saturday night. Everybody had such a good time and was so complimentary of the band. I have your cards handy so
that I can pass your name along. I am sure you will eventually get some jobs from our friends. Your talent and
professional manner impressed all who were there.
Thanks again. May the party go on and on........................!!!

Sidney,
Just heard back from the mother of the bride from Lexington, VA this past Saturday, and they LOVED
it. Simply simply loved it. Couldn't say enough good things. She raved and raved - thanks again for showing
them such a good time. She commented not only on the quality of the music, but also on your professionalism throughout
the whole night.
